KULTURA: Mała stabilizacja socjologii, czyli socjologia kultury jako subdyscyplina reglamentowana

Abstract
Niniejszy artykuł stanowi przyczynek do dziejów jednej z socjologicznych subdyscyplin – socjologii kultury. Omówiony tu został okres tzw. małej stabilizacji (1958–1970), w którym również socjologia odczuwała względną stabilizację i skutecznie wykorzystywała, po okresie stalinowskiej anatemy, szansę na odrodzenie i rozwój. Jednak ów sprzyjający zdałoby się czas cechował się również silną ingerencją władzy w rzeczywistość nauki. Socjologia za swoją małą stabilizację musiała zapłacić cenę rezygnacji z wolności badawczej – okazało się, że jest de facto dyscypliną reglamentowaną. Historia socjologii kultury umieszczona została tu na tle politycznych wydarzeń tamtego okresu. Artykuł pokazuje sposoby, jakimi władza starała się wpływać na kształt tej subdyscypliny, dopasowując ją do własnej wizji polityki kulturalnej oraz piętnując antysocjalistyczne poglądy.
