Kuzova Gora hill and the village of Kusovikha (Pushkinskie Gory district of the Pskov region) as a probable medieval stronghold

Abstract
The field expedition of the creative association Nasledie explored the area of the former village Kuzovikha in the Pskov region. Different types of historical, ethnographical, geographical sources were analyzed and compared. This article argues that the remains of the Kuzova Gora hill which had been turned into a sandpit may be considered as a medieval stronghold, and its neighbourhood as a probable suburb (posted). The results of the topological reconstruction of the area are also given in the article.
