LAMENTS IN TURKISH AND KYRGYZ LITERATURE

Abstract

Every nation that lives on the earth has its own culture. The cultures of the nations develop in various ways during the historical period in which the nation lived and are exposed to changes during its development. Traditions-customs, the customs and practices that depend on them are the foundations of a nation's culture. The tradition-custom is the practice of the transition period in which the life that mankind has passed through his life during his life in this world. During these stages, called transition periods or transition ceremonies, various activities take place. The most important transitional ceremonies are the ones built upon birth, wedding and death. There are poetry that every people say around these transition ceremonies. One of these poems is poetry which is expressed because of the pain of death and separation. These poems which are said to be mostly extrovert in the Turkish Literature due to death and separation are called lament. The source of the weights is based on the pre-Islamic devrine of Turkish Literature. Even though this poem was forgotten at the beginning, the anonymous notes are also written today. Despite the fact that the lamentations related to the death hadith, one of the most important transitional periods in the lives of the human beings in the Turks and Kyrgyzs, are connected to the feeding of the same source at the basis of the oral literature of the two people, the development of this kind has been different in the tradition of the two people over time. In Kyrgyz Literature, these poems are composed of Kereez, Uguzuv, Joktav, Koşok under the heading of Mun-Zar Irlari, while the saints mentioned in the Turkish Literature due to the death and separation tradition are merely under the title of titles. Comparisons are made by supporting how samples are categorized in the researches made in Makalede lamentations in Turkish Literature and Kyrgyz Literature.
