Abstract
Research on issues related to obligatory state protection of deposits of private individuals in Ukraine based on the analysis of the core principles of effective banking supervision developed by the Basel Committee on banking supervision, and the role of the Deposit Insurance Fund of Ukraine in ensuring the reliability of the financial system of the state.
