Abstract
A multilateral and universal form of pollution, the radioactive pollution slowly affects any living organisms by contaminating the air, water, underground and ground-cover. After the Chernobyl accident, a particular importance is given to the problem of nuclear safety, involving planning, preparedness, intervention and assistance issues in case of a potential radiological emergency.
