Legal liability for offenses against property in the early years of Soviet power in Ukraine

Abstract
The article considered the peculiarities of legal responsibility for crimes against property in the early years of Soviet period in Ukraine. It’s carried out the systematization of normative legal acts, according to which three groups are distinguished: legal and criminological, socio-economic and socio-psychological acts. It’s proved that the adopted normative acts were characterized by frequent application of the highest degree of punishment, contained rules on the confiscation of property and had a low level of legal technology.
