LEGAL PROTECTION OF SAFETY AND QUALITY OF FOOD PRODUCTS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The analysis of the legal regulation on ensuring the safety and quality of food products in Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. The paper discusses the main provisions of the European Parliament and Council Regulation on the establishment of general principles and requirements in food law, food hygiene. It has been established that in order to provide state guarantees for the safety and quality of food products, it is necessary to ensure, by continuing to carry out large-scale work on the development and adoption of relevant laws and by-laws of Ukraine in this area.
