LEGAL UNDERSTANDING AS A PHILOSOPHICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATION OF LEGAL REFORM

Abstract
The article deals with understanding of law as the ideological and methodological foundation of legal reform. Formulated author’s position on the concept of understanding of law, its features, structures and functions through the prism of the relationship with legal reform. The main law understanding approaches as the potential methodological directions of knowledge of the nature of legal reform are described. Some aspects of the relationship and interaction of understanding of law and legal reform in legal science and practice are revealed.
