Journal Title: Acta Scientarum Polonorum Administratio Locorum - Year 2019, Vol 18, Issue 3
Abstract
This article concerns a spatial analysis and the evaluation of the EU funds use supporting rural renewal in Poland under the activity “Rural Renewal and Development”. The level of beneficiaries’ interest is discussed as well as the scale of investments undertaken. The study presents the structure of beneficiaries and the material effects achieved. Moreover, emphasis was put on the conditions determining the acquisition of funds under the analysed activity. The analysis was conducted from the perspective of voivodeships and poviats on the basis of the data included in the Local Data Bank. In the study use was made of the “Report on the implementation of the 2007–2013 Rural Development Programme (RDP)”. This work covers the years 2007–2015 taking into account the rule n + 2, which extends the financial settlement of the EU assistance by two years.
