LEXICAL, SEMANTIC, AND STYLISTIC USE OF METAPHORS IN ARTISTIC WORKS AND THEIR TRANSLATIONAL FEATURES

Abstract
In fiction, metaphor plays an important role as one of the most powerful and effective means of language. Metaphor not only enriches the artistic expressive layer of the language, but also deepens the content of the work and presents the reader with new, creative ideas. Metaphors can expand meanings and ideas, change the reader's inner world. However, the translation of metaphors in fiction poses serious problems.
