LINGUAL-AND-SEMIOTIC TEXT INTERPRETATION AND ITS POTENTIAL FOR TRANSLATION STUDIES DEVELOPMENT
Journal Title: Записки з романо-германської філології - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue
Abstract
The paper studies linguosemiotic interpretation as a method of text analysis. The suggested linguosemiotic approach to the defining of the communicative process is based on the claim that it is the process of coding, decoding and recoding of sense structures applying linguocultural space. The latter is viewed as a model of human lifeworld which also serves as a model of interpretation. Linguocultural space as a linguosemiotic category is reckoned to be an effective tool for studying reproductive interpretation as a method of translation analysis. The author formulates basic canons of applying linguosemiotic approach in translation studies.
