LINGUISTIC-METHODOLOGICAL METHODS OF TEACHING TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO WORK WITH PROFESSIONALLY-ORIENTED GERMAN-LANGUAGE TEXTS IN THE SPECIALTY

Abstract
The article deals with the actual problem of the main linguistic-methodological aspects in teaching technical university students to work with professionally-oriented German-language texts in the specialty. The questions of studying the peculiarities of translating scientific and technical texts by students in the specialty are explored in detail. Particular attention is paid to the main issues of the linguistic essence of scientific and technical terms as the main and most important components of scientific and technical German-language texts, as well as their special significance in translating German-language scientific and technical literature as the way of exchanging and disseminating information in the world community.
