Abstract
The article considers the linguodidactic potential of Myhailo Kotsubynskiy’s creativity. It is highlighted that the writer’s works are advisable to use in teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. The author analyses their relevance and potential for the development of reading skills and communicative competence of foreigners. The paper outlines the adaptation strategy and the system of exercises to literary texts for foreign students.
