LINKAGE OF AGRICULTURAL FARMS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT IN PODKARPACKIE VOIVODSHIP FROM THE PERSPECTIVE ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

Abstract
The main purpose of the article is to present selected measures describing the links between farms and the environment in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship from the perspective of distributing agricultural products. Among many indicators characterizing the scale and scope of contacts of these farms with the environment, the following were subjectively selected: the share of commodity production in global production; share of agricultural producers in the final price of food products; development of major agricultural products and expenditure on the purchase of production means (materials). The study uses data from the Statistical Yearbooks as well as the results of a survey conducted in 2013 among 500 agricultural producers managing and conducting commodity production in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The analysis of these connections mainly concerns the years 2005-2013, which is determined mainly by the period of the research project implementation, as well as the possibility of comparing the obtained results with the relevant statistical data. The results of the conducted analysis indicate the significant importance of these links for the expansion of various integration relationships taking place in agribusiness, with particular emphasis on the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.<br/><br/>
