Literary proper names in English children's fantasy novels

Abstract
The article highlights peculiarities of creating proper names in the English fantasy literature (in the works of C. Valente, J.K. Rowling and T. Pratchett). In the given research it has been classified two types of literary names: proper names defined as neologisms and occasional onyms. It has been given a more precise definition of the term ‘occasional onym’ in the fantasy literature.
