L’observation au service de l’évaluation de la parentalité<br />

Abstract
En protection de l’enfance, la question de l’évaluation des carences comme des compétences parentales est centrale. Parmi les outils proposés à l’intervenant, l’observation occupe une place non négligeable, et pourtant cet outil est peu théorisé, comme s’il allait de soi, comme si chacun savait se servir de la puissance du regard pour repérer, estimer, comprendre, apprécier. Cet article montre au contraire la complexité de cette intervention peu ordinaire, qui consiste à regarder interagir les membres d’une famille, à s’introduire au cœur de l’intime.
