Logistyczny wymiar systemu obronnego państwa

Abstract
As an attempt to systematize and spread the knowledge combining safety economics and logistics, the author of the article comprehensively presents the essence of defence logistics, its model, tasks and role within national defence system. This specific, partly forgotten, nevertheless extremely important element of economic bases of national defence has been described by: presenting the defmition of the defence logistics and describing its profile; describing the location of the defence logistics within the defence system together with specification of its main goals and tasks, as well as analyzing the correlation between defence logistics, defence system and national economy system. Due to the extent of the study, the approached topics could not be described in detail, but forms only an outline of a very wide spectrum of problems within the area of the supply chain management, necessary to perform defence tasks in all positions offunctioning of the state.
