Abstract

Dynamics of biogenic elements deposit by the river Danube has been estimated for two periods 1960-1990 and 1990-2005 as well as its influence on the rate of eutrophication of the north-western part of the Black sea and transformation of biogenic elements in the coupled system sea-bottom sediment while hypoxia and open sea exchange processes were taking place.
