Abstract
The article, based on documentary materials from the record books of Volhynia terrestrial (city) and borough (land) courts and chronicles, investigates the problem of the peaceful population losses from epidemic diseases in Volhynia during the Liberation War of the Ukrainian people under the leadership of B. Khmelnitsky.
