Low Energy Clustering in BAN Based on Fuzzy Simulated Evolutionary Computation
Journal Title: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Energy Web - Year 2016, Vol 3, Issue 8
Abstract
A low energy clustering method of body area networks based on fuzzy simulated evolutionary computation is proposed in this paper. To reduce communication energy consumption, we also designed a fuzzy controller to dynamically adjust the crossover and mutation probability. Simulations are conducted by using the proposed method, the clustering methods based on the particle swarm optimization and the method based on the quantum evolutionary algorithm. Results show that the energy consumption of the proposed method decreased compare with the other two methods, which means the proposed method significantly improves the energy efficiency.

A Unified Monitoring Framework for Energy Consumption and Network Traffic
Providing experimenters with deep insight about the effects of their experiments is a central feature of testbeds. In this paper, we describe Kwapi, a framework designed in the context of the Grid'5000 testbed, that unif...
International Smart Grid Roadmaps and their Assessment
In US and Europe many approaches and efforts exist with different viewpoints and focuses on what is understood as smart grids. One agreement of almost all approaches is the need for standardization to operate smart grid...
Mathematical model of energy storage for the calculation of electromechanical processes in power systems
The paper proposes and describes a mathematical model of an energy storage system based on a battery energy storage system as part of an electric power system for calculating transient electromechanical processes. The re...
Thermal processes of the isolating materials in problems of nondestructive diagnostics of the main and power supply systems
Methods of calculation of thermal processes of the isolating materials are considered, in problems of nondestructive diagnostics of the main and distributive power stations. Theoretical justification of calculation of th...
