Low temperature impact on protein content and peroxidase activity during pea inoculation with Rhizobium leguminosarum

Abstract

The study was focused on changes in protein content and peroxidase activity in pea roots subjected to infection with Rhizobium leguminosarum and to low temperature. The amount of protein and peroxidase activity were shown to change in the course of interaction with nodular bacteria and to depend on the temperature and root zones susceptibility to rhizobia. It was concluded that changes in the content of soluble protein and peroxidase activity witness adaptation changes in pea seedlings, which facilitate normal course of metabolic processes and ensure regulation of plant interaction with Rhizobium in hypothermal conditions.

We  investigated import of DNA of various length (109 bp, 269 bp, 717 bp, 1540 bp, 2732 bp, 9000 bp and 11600 bp) into the isolated mitochondria from potato tubers (Solanum tuberosum). The results imply...

The salicylic acid effect on the tomato (lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) germination, growth and photosynthetic pigment under salinity stress (NaCl)
