“M. Maksymovych School” as an Intellectual Realm for Shaping Communal Identity of Ukrainians

Abstract
The article analyzes the influence of language arts studies in the first third of the 19th century as the primary area of Ukrainian studies, as well as the specifics of shaping visions regarding the communal identity of Ukrainians. It highlights that the concepts that arouse in the system of axes allowed intellectuals to theoretically substantiate the unconditional singularity of Ukrainianhood.
