Magnetic Field Mental Representations of 15-16 Year Old Students
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
The study of students mental representations of Natural Sciences concepts and phenomena constitutes a central part of Physics Education research, as they play a decisive role in teaching. In the study presented here, we investigate 112 15-16 years old students mental representations of the magnetic field, after they were taught about it in school. The empirical data was gathered through an interview using 3 tasks which involved the evaluation of actual or hypothetical situations. The research data included mental representations that cause difficulty in the comprehension of the properties of the magnetic field.

A FIXED POINT APPROACH TO THE STABILITY OF GENERAL QUADRATIC EULER-LAGRANGE FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS IN INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY SPACES
In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a general k-quadratic Euler-Lagrange functional equation:for any fixed positive integer in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces using a fixed point method.
Deformation potentials for Δ1 minimum of conduction band of single crystals n-Ge
Deformation potentials eV and eV for ∆1 minimum of conduction band of single crystals  n-Ge are defined on the basis of theory of the anisotropic scattering and experimental data of longitudinal piezo resis...
WHY MASS APPEARS GRAVITATIONAL
Einsteins theory of General relativity is a popular theory, but unfortunately it cannot account for all the observable gravity in the universe. This paper presents a new force predicted through the McMahon field theory (...
The Von Neumann and Double Slit Paradoxes Lead to a New Schrodinger Wave Mathematics
John von Neumann states a paradox. Why does measuring something disrupt the smooth Schrödinger wave, causing it to collapse for no mathematical reason? This paradox is embedded in the double slit experiment. When a dot a...
Effect of Annealing on Creep Behavior, Hardness, Roughness and Electrochemical Corrosion Parameters of Co- Cr Based Alloy
In the present work, the effect of annealing on creep behavior, hardness, maximum shear stress, roughness and electrochemical corrosion parameters of commercial Co64Cr29Mo6.5A0.5 (A= C, Si, Fe, and Mn) dental alloy from...
