Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumour With Facial Involvement

Abstract
Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours are agressive, spindle cell sarcomas which constitute 10% of all soft tissue sarcomas. Head and neck involment is rare compared with extremity and axial involvement. 75 years old male patients referred to our clinic with a fast growing mass located in the left malar region. Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour diagnosis was established and wide excision and reconstruction with free radial forearm flap was performed. In elderly patients with head and neck masses malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours must be kept in mind in differantial diagnosis.
