MANAGEMENT OF DIABETIC FOOT- OUR EXPERIENCE

Abstract

As diabetic foot involves various organs a disciplined systematic approach is desirable to achieve optimal result and prevention of amputation & sepsis. Various guidelines are available for management of diabetic foot to provide the systematic approach for management. In Indian context, one of the guideline available is ‘SWCR Guidelines for Wound Management’. This study highlights the experience of managing diabetic foot using SWCR Guidelines.
