Abstract
upper gastrointestinal bleeding is a common medical emergency, with mortality rate of 10 percent. Adequate early resuscitation and early diagnosis and whenever therapeutic Interventions needed-timely are keys to the successful management of acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
