MANAGING ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVENESS AT A HIGHER LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT SUBSYSTEM

Abstract

Under market economy conditions, the efficiency of enterprise performance is mainly determined by the level of competitiveness. Therefore, the studies devoted to increasing competitiveness of enterprises and their products are topical. Management takes a special place among the factors increasing competitiveness. Despite substantial results achieved by the researchers and a great number of publications dedicated to the problem under consideration, proper solutions to some of its aspects have not been found. The scheme and content of enterprise competitiveness management have been suggested as a re-sult of the conducted research. The novelty of this approach to enterprise competitiveness management lies in adapting the existing models of strategic management to the existing organizational structure of enterprise management, which implies three levels of management: higher, middle and initial. The issues of enterprise strategy development are considered at the higher level, strategies of the operation of business units and strategy implementation are developed at the middle level. At the initial level, only the issues of strategy implementation are considered. At each management level, the implementation of three blocks of the management function is suggested: decision, executive, information and control. It is offered to move the development of functional strategies to the executive blocks of higher and middle management levels.
