MANIFESTATION OF THE LINGUISTIC CATEGORY OF EVALUATION IN THE SOCIAL NETWORK «VKONTAKTE»

Abstract
In this scientific article, the issue of determining the linguistic essence of evaluation is examined. The primary approach to identifying evaluative components of meaning at the moment is semantic analysis of linguistic expressions. With the development of online communication, contextual analysis has become relevant, as the pragmatic evaluative meaning manifests indirectly with its consideration, extending beyond the semantic structure of the expression. This is especially important for analyzing texts within the framework of linguistic expertise, where one of the most frequently encountered objects of study is internet comments. In this study, 827 publications containing evaluations were analyzed. The article characterizes primarily lexical, predominantly syntactic, mixed, and graphical means of expressing evaluation. The focus is on typical tools for expressing evaluative meaning in internet comments: register, punctuation marks, symbols, and emoticons. The range of these means appears to require further study due to the dynamic nature of their development and the extensive use thereof
