MANIPUR: THE LAND OF DISTURBANCE AND TROUBLE

Abstract

One night, while meditating upon the troubles and disturbances caused by the people in the society, I was resorted to pen down this article titled; “ Manipur: The land of disturbance and trouble” Why Manipur, which once was called “The land of Jewel” by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, is now called the land of disturbance and trouble?” There must be something which is suited to the people of Manipur. In Manipur, nothing is bad and nothing is lacking. Nature provides everything for mankind abundantly throughout the year. But, People living in Manipur do not know and care for the future. The rulers of the state and the bureaucrats are not having a long vision for the days to come. They are thinking things for the present which are temporary for the welfare of the people and the state.
