Mapping of Geophysics Publications: A Scientometric Study

Abstract
This paper discusses about the Geophysics publications and its citation available in the Scimago Journal and Country Rank data base by the authors from top 15 countries (based on publications). The relevant data are collected from Scimago Journal and Country Rank data base and it was analyzed. It shows among the Geophysics publications totally 252724 articles were published and indexed in Scimago database. Among them maximum number of 83555 (33.06%) articles published by United States followed by China with 23440 (9.27%) and United Kingdom is in third with20282 (8.03%) publications. during the study period.
