Mapping of transcription factor binding Region of kappa casein (CSN3) gene in Iranian Bacterianus and Dromedaries camels
Journal Title: International journal of Advanced Biological and Biomedical Research - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 5
Abstract
κ-casein is a glycosilated protein in mammalian milk that plays an essential role in the milk micelles. Control of κ-casein expression reflects this essential role, although an understanding of the mechanisms involved lags behind that of the other milk protein genes. Transcriptional regulation, a first mechanism for controlling the development of organisms, is carried out by transcription factors binding sites (TFBSs). We determined the 5’ region for Iranian Dromedaries and bactrianus camel κ-casein gene. We also determine their regulatory TFBSs regions. This region contained 14 potential TFBSs The four of them C/EBP-α, Oct1, MGF/STAT5 and TPB have almost perfectly conserved.

Study of relationship between related yield traits using correlation and regression in wild barley (Hordeum murynum)
Genotypic variation is useful to breeders when selecting genotypes to improve particular traits. In order to study of genetic diversity 20 genotypes of Hordeum murynum studied in the form of randomized complete block d...

An experiment was conducted in order to evaluate the effects of Se spraying on yield and growth indices of wheat under drought stress condition, in agriculture and natural resource research center of Tehran province in...
Rubia tinctorum L. (Rubiaceae) or Madder as one of the living color to dyeing wool
The medicinal part of Rubia tinctorum is the dried root. The small yellowishgreen flowers are in loose, leafy, long-peduncled terminal or auxiliary cymes. The margin of the calyx is indistinct, 4- to 5-sectioned and ha...
The effect of florfenicol egg-injection on embryonated chicken egg
Pathogens are an important and significant hazard for human and animal health. In recent years, antibiotics are used to treat different types of infection caused by bacterial agents. In veterinary medicine, antibiotics...
Effect of water and temperature on seed germination and emergence as a seed hydrothermal time model
The physiological process of germination depends on several environmental factors such as temperature, water potential, light, nutrients and smoke. Water and temperature are determinant factors for seed germination. Bo...
