Abstract

This article presents a new concept of a modern museum of technology in form of a science center, displaying both museum objects and interactive objects, including multimedia, based on the example of the planned Maritime Museum – Science Center, the branch of the National Museum in Szczecin. Furthermore, the former attempts and endeavors to create a maritime museum in Szczecin have been described.
