Market conditions for restructurisation activities of a selected enterprise from Tarnów Region

Abstract
The article presents the privatisation process carried out in the selected state-owned company from Tarnów region. It points out the features characteristic for the period of the developing free market economy, with particular focus on the footwear branch of the light industry. The paper describes big commitment and involvement of the employees during the privatisation process. The final conclusions highlight the importance of the privatisation process in a company adjustment to the requirements set by the market.
