Abstract

Spor tsmen are cu sto mers of ho tel ser vi ces, the ro fo re sports ma na gers must ha ve abo ut the ir or ga ni za tion and work. In the ho tel bu si ness the re are at le ast three in vol ved par ti es, and each one of them has one or mo re main go als. Main goal of the ho tel ow ners is to ma ke pro fi t, ho tel em ployees is to earn the ir sa la ri es and the ho tel gu ests main goal is to get the sa tis faction thro ugh the ser vi ces that ho tel of fers. Main as sig nment of the ho tel ma na ge ment is to cre a te bu si ness stra tegy which wo uld lead to sa tis fac tion of all three in vol ved par ti es. Fa vo ring one of the in vol ved party’s ne eds that le ads to ot her par ti es di sa dvan tage is not a for mu la of suc cessful ma na ge ment. Mis sion and vi sion of the ho tel bu si ness are de ter mi ned by the ho tel ow ners themsel ves. The goal of the ho tel ma na ge ment is to “tran sla te” the ge ne ral bu si ness phi losophy in to go als, plans and me a su res in or der to ac hi e ve the be fo re men ti o ned phi losophy. De te r mi ning of the (re ally) ac hi e va ble vi sion, “dre am of suc cess” if you will, is the fo un da tion of the to tal and suc cessful bu si ness po li tics in the ho te li er bu si ness. The goal of this work is to an swer the qu e sti ons of the use ful ness of the ho tels mar ke ting mix, di ver se com mer cial to ols and the re so ur ce si ze which ho tels use for marke ting. All in the fun ction of ge ne ral alig nment of the uni ver sal bu si ness po li tics and con cre te plans and fun cti ons.
