Abstract

Information about known risk factors for cyanotic congenital heart defects is deficient. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between maternal chronic disease and cyanotic congenital heart disease in offspring. Cyanotic congenital heart defects (CHDs) are associated with multiple risk factors such as maternal febrile illness, maternal Hypertension (HTN), Diabetes Mellitus (DM), SLE, Epilepsy, and birth weight of the child.
