MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF WEAR CHARACTER FAILURE IN AIRCRAFT OPERATION

Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2016, Vol 72, Issue

Abstract

In this paper the mathematical model of failures associated with wear during aircraft exploitation is developed. Тhe calculations of the distribution function, distribution density and failure rate gamma distribution at low coefficients of variation and the relatively low value of average wear rate for the current time, which varies quite widely. The results coincide well with the physical concepts and can be used to build different models of aircraft. Gamma distribution is a pretty good model for failures that occur when wear of machines and mechanisms. By varying the ratio of variations, it can pick one that meets specific statistics in the calculations. When k = 1 will be exponential distribution law uptime, and with k = 12 ÷ 14 gamma distribution coincides well with the normal distribution.
