Mathematical optimization of the process of allyl alkohol epoxidation in the presence of methanol over Ti-SBA-15 catalyst

Abstract

The process of allyl alcohol epoxidation in the presence of methanol over Ti-SBA-15 catalyst was optimized using rotatableuniform design. For main functions describing the process (allyl alcohol conversion, selectivity of conversion to glycidol in relation to consumed allyl alcohol and selectivity of conversion to organic compounds in relation to consumed hydrogen peroxide) maximum values and their corresponding optimum parameters were determined. Detailed analysis of obtained results was carried out using contour plots.
