MATRIX ANALYSIS OF AN ASSORTMENT POLICY OF SPECIALIZED TRADE ENTERPRISES IN RETAIL

Abstract
The paper describes the product assortment policy of specialized trade enterprises in the retail industry and the models of an assortment change. Main components of the assortment policy of trade enterprises are outlined. One of the paragraphs investigates the profitability of some product types and groups. The next section provides the results of the matrix ABC-analysis dedicated to an assortment policy. The author presented the requirements for assortment and inventories regulation based on the outcome of ABC-Y-analysis.
