MEDIA EDUCATION OF ETHNIC MINORITIES IN THE LEADING EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Abstract
The article clarified the concept of «media education» in the analysis of scientific literature on the research problem. We analyzed the ways in which the media promote intercultural integration of minorities in the modern world space. Tendencies and prospects of media development in the leading European countries, including Switzerland and the UK are defined. The effectiveness of media education in the general education system is seen. It focuses on the fact that media education of ethnic minorities and their integration in the cultural and educational space becomes important in the European countries.
