Medical certificationin the context of the sense of health safety

Journal Title: Medycyna Ogólna i Nauki o Zdrowiu - Year 2010, Vol 16, Issue 3

Abstract

Health safety is one of the most important aspects, both in the life of an individual, a specified community, or the whole population. This primarily concerns the necessity to provide an equal and easy access to medical services on the part of the health care system, including the latest methods of treatment, prophylaxis and health education.Medical certification also plays a key role in this process, the essence of which is, as defined by Prof. Wilmowska, expressing opinions – for various purposes and in various forms – concerning conclusions resulting from deviations from the state of health confirmed by a medical examination.
