MEDICINAL HERBS USED TO TREAT THE OBESITY-AN OVERVIEW

Abstract
Obesity is an abnormal accumulation of body fat. Obesity is when a person is carrying too much of the body fat for their height and sex. Obesity is a major health problem and becomes an important epidemic in both developed and developing countries since an increase in the risky life styles. Obesity does not just happen overnight it develops gradually from poor diet & lifestyle choices and to some extent from your genes the units of genetic material inherited from your parents. Certain medicines including some corticosteroids & Antidepressants can also contribute to weight gain. So here we try to focus the medicinal herbs used to relieve the obesity with out side effect. Nearly more than five medicinal herbs screened for treat the obesity.
