Abstract

Melanophthalma extensa Rey, 1889 (Coleoptera: Latridiidae) – a species of beetle new to the Polish fauna. Melanophthalma extensa is recorded from Poland for the first time. Male and female were caught at light in Brynek, park, Upper Silesia.
