MENTAL DETERMINANTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIC CONSCIOUSNESS AT A YOUNG AGE

Abstract
The article deals with the structural and functional characteristics of the youth’s civil self-awareness, their mental determination is shown, psychological mechanisms of formation are grounded. Applying the correla- tion analysis of the results of the questionnaire «Limit vital meanings» of DA Leontiev, the projective method- ology «Sachs-Levy’s» unfinished sentences «, and also the non-standardized self-report in the form of the test of 12 statements on the self-attitude» I am a citizen of my country, «I managed to obtain significant coefficients correlation correlation between the leading basic values and semantic characteristics of respondents and their civic convictions and orientations.
