METALANGUAGE COMMENTS WITH COMPONENT «SMYSL SLOVA» («SENSE OF THE WORD») IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN SPEECH

Abstract
The article deals with semantic and functional characteristics of metalanguage comments v istinnom (podlinnom, deystvitel’nom) smysle slova, v pr’amom (bukval’nom, strogom, sobstvennom) smysle slova, v uzkom (shirokom, polnom) smysle slova, v izvestnom (kakom-tо) smysle slova, v khoroshem smysle slova ets. in the Modern Russian speech. The fact that these language units play an important role in organization of discourse by a speaker and in manifestation of his / her specific intentions (sometimes — manipulative ones) is proved. With the help of examined metalanguage comments a speaker can esentially correct sense of source commented expressions which would be interpreted by addressee without this comment in a different way, namely within the bounds of generally accepted rules and treatments, and this situation does not obviously suit a speaker. The author arrives to the conclusion that it is necessary to treat examined phenomena a result of special semantic transformations which can be defined in whole as manipulative substitution operations of usual sense in utterance.
