METHOD OF ASSESSING THE LATERAL STABILITY WHILE ENCOUNTERING AN OBSTACLE UNDER THE TERMS OF WHEELS COUPLING

Abstract
The movement of vehicles over a rough terrain is connected whith the risk of tipping. It has been established that the most dangerous moment is the transition from the horizontal plane of movement to an inclined one, which results in excitations of vibrations. It was shown that rapid movement of spring mass can lead to a significant reduction of the roll bar coefficient. The dependencies to describe the mutual movement of vehicle mass, the influence of geometric parameters of obstacles on the lateral stability of the vehicle are obtained.
