METHOD TO DEVELOP THE DOUBLE-CURVED SURFACE OF THE ROOF
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
This work present two methods for determining the development of double-curved surface. The aims of this paper is to show a comparative study between methods for determination of the sheet metal requirements for complex roof cover shape. In first part of the paper are presented the basic sketch and information about the roof shape and some consecrated buildings, which have a complex roof shape. The second part of the paper shows two methods for determining the developed of the spherical roof. The graphical method is the first method used for developing of the spherical shape. In this method it used the poly-cylindrical method to develop the double-curved surface. The second method is accomplishing by using the dedicated CAD software method.

AGRICULTURAL FIELD IRRIGATION SOLUTION BASED ON VENTURI NOZZLE MODEL
There are situations when the agricultural field irrigation requires water retrieved from the medium or deep groundwater reserves. For this solution submersible pumps are needed in order to take over the water from a cer...
VIRTUAL MODEL OF A ROBOTIC VACUUM CLEANER
This paper presents the 3D virtual model of the robotic vacuum cleaner in terms of vacuum cleaner elements. The paper is focused on the design of the subassemblies specific to the vacuum cleaner and presents the features...
MULTI-MATERIAL 3D PRINTER EXTRUDER CONCEPT
Since the RepRap (Replicating rapid prototyper) project, FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing technology has come a long way. As the machine evolves so does the range of materials we can print with and the applica...
LINEAR OBJECT'S POINT-CLOUDS OBTAINED FOR HORIZONTAL SHOOTING DIRECTIONS: QUANTIFYING ITS METRIC AND DENSITY QUALITY AS A FUNCTION OF OBJECT'S INCLINATION ANGLE
This paper investigates characteristics of metric and density quality of linear object's point-clouds (obtained for horizontal shooting directions) as a function of its inclination angle (measured from horizontal plane)....
DEVELOPMENT OF SOME REVOLUTION SURFACES
The paper work proposes practical graphic methods provided by Descriptive Geometry to plot the development of two revolution surfaces: the revolution surface having an oval as median section and the revolution surface ha...
