METHODICAL APPROACHES TO MODELING THE LEVEL OF COMPANIES’ CAPITALIZATION ON THE MARKET OF AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE

Abstract
Sources of formation, use and distribution of the capital were investigated according to the companies’ operation in the insurance market. By using the production the Cobb-Douglas function, the evaluation of the capital needs of insurance companies was conducted, based on the potential development of agricultural insurance in the Ukraine. Proposals, to diversify the sources of replenishment the insurers’ capital, were formulated for the purpose of efficient distribution (redistribution) of risks and responsibilities between all subjects in the insurance process.
