Methodical Provision for Choosing a Strategy of Economic Security of Machine-Building Enterprises

Abstract
In conditions of the increasing environment aggressiveness the achievement of the strategic goals by Ukrainian machine-building enterprises largely depends on ensuring their economic security. It is the economic security that is a lever permitting to reduce or neutralize the effect of destabilizing factors in the enterprise activity. The basis for the effective management of the enterprise economic security is developing the strategy of its ensuring. The proposed methodical approach to choosing the strategy of economic security allows determining the main directions of its ensuring in the process of implementing strategic changes at enterprises of different forms of property based on estimation of their sensitivity to the effects of the external environment factors. The allocated directions are variants of the strategy of economic security, the choice of which with the calculated probability provides the company a guaranteed minimum level of economic security in the worst case scenario. This makes it possible to choose the optimal strategy for the enterprise economic security in terms of its capabilities and strategic goals.
