METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS OF DOMESTIC ENVIRONMENT GAS TRANSMISSION COMPANIES IN THE CONTEXT OF THEIR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
Diagnosis of the business environment operation the initial stage of research and development trends forecasting company. Within these proseses the global components, neighbor factors of the environment and resource potential of the company (internal capabilities) systematically analyze. This step creates an information base that allows the formation of strategic objectives and alternatives of the enterprise. The economic literature has developed and offered a wide arsenal of methods for assessing the state of the environment, which can be aggregated into the following groups: methods of forecasting, methods for impact assessments, expert methods. These methods are widely used in the world to identify the nature and magnitude of the effect of environmental factors on the operation of the business lines and forecasting its future development. Therefore, it was necessary to adapt some of the methods for the assessment of environmental factors on the operation and development of domestic gas transmission companies, to take into account the peculiarities of their functioning. The aim is to study the diagnostic methods of the enterprise environment and study their application for diagnostics of distant, close and internal environment of domestic gas transmission companies with regard to industrial, technological, economic, etc. features of their operation. This will identify both external and internal potential for developing national gas transmission companies, or will reduce the risks from the negative impact of environmental factors on their functioning. A diagnosis of exercise environment of operation and development of domestic gas transmission companies provides in the following sequence: Stage I - diagnosis factors of distant environment; Stage II - Diagnosis of neighbor environment factors based on analyzing the industry and SWOT-analysis; Stage III - comparative analysis of domestic gas transmission companies and other gas transmission companies (partners / competitors) on benchmarking process; Stage IV – diagnostics of internal factors that influence the development on the basis of McKinsey 7S analysis model. Analytical study component of the external and internal environment of domestic gas transmission companies will outline the general direction of development in conjunction with the global gas market trends, find out the problems and prospects of development of domestic oil and gas industry, to identify internal sources of the enterprise.
