METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF CUSTOMS VIOLATIONS STATISTICS

Abstract
This paper examines the organization of customs statistics. It turns out that the customs statistics takes a leading role in the system of statistical sciences. Author determined the main issues and trends in the development of specialized customs statistics. Given the importance of the work of the customs authorities in the exercise of their activities. The need for separation of the direction in specialized customs statistics can not be denied. The statistics of smuggling and customs violations, which will identify and investigate the causes, nature, trends and development of customs offenses for the purpose of prevent them in the future.
